1Can I bring a bicycle on board?
Folding bicycles which are packed and wrapped in a suitable carrier bag/protective covering will be treated as passengers’ accompanied luggage and carried free of charge in the luggage storage area if available. Bicycles, prams and non-folding childrens' pushchairs will be carried only if sufficient accommodation is available; they must be placed in the luggage compartment or other designated area of the vehicle.
2Are dogs allowed on the bus?
Guide dogs and Assistance dogs accompanying passengers are permitted to travel on all Local Link services free of charge and without restriction. An Assistance dog must be clearly identifiable either by coat or harness to distinguish it as a working dog and not a pet. Apart from the foregoing exceptions, dogs, cats or any other animals or live fowl of any description WILL NOT be carried.
3How does it Work?
Our Regular Rural services operate five and six days per week and do not require booking as they operate to a fixed timetable – these are on our Timetables page. Our Demand Responsive Transport services that operate in areas that are more rural require pre booking. Call us on 069-22311 or 065-6719101 for more information or bookings. You can register with us to reserve a seat every week on your choice of route.
4Can I use my travel pass?

5Can I bring someone with me if I have a Free Travel Pass?
"If you qualify for Free Travel, your Public Services Card (PSC) will have FT (for Free Travel) in the top left-hand corner. The letter following it shows who you can take with you: FT-P - you can travel for free FT+S - your spouse, partner or cohabitant can travel with you for free FT+C - you can have a person (over 16) travel with you for free You must carry it with you when you are using public transport. Paper free travel passes are no longer being issued but you can still use your paper pass, if it is valid."
6Do you have student / children fares?
Yes, we have a fare structure for Adult / Child and Student. Under 5 years travel FREE – Our fares are displayed on each route or call us 069-22311 or 065-6719101. The Young Adult Card allows for up to a 50% reduction in price:- The Young Adult (19-23) Leap Card is available to all 19 to 23 year olds right up to their 24th birthday. The Student Leap Card remains available to students in full-time education who are 24 years old and above. If you already have a Student Leap Card you’ll get the 50% reduction straight away without having to apply for a new Young Adult Leap Card (19-23). Just use your Student Leap Card as normal.

8How does the Student, Young Adult and Child IDs work?

9Do I have to register to use the bus?
We offer two types of service: Our Regular Rural services operate five and six days per week and does not require booking or registration. We advise pre booking for our Demand Responsive Transport services to guarantee a seat or for a home pick up. If you would like to travel regularly on one of our rural routes you can simply register with us by phone and we will reserve a seat for you each week of the service. We kindly ask that you inform us if you are NOT travelling so we can offer the seat to someone else. Call us on 069-22311 or 065-6719101.
10How can I find out if there is a bus in my area?

11Can I get picked up on the door to door service?
We offer a pre booked door pick up where possible on our demand responsive transport services. Call us on 069-22311 or 065-6719101 with your Eircode and we will assess if we can divert our route for a door pick up.
12There are no buses in my area – what can I do?
CONTACT US! We keep account of unmet transport needs in county Limerick and Clare; and when we have enough demand for an area we can apply for a service. Fill in our Is Transport a Problem for You? 13Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
90% of our services are wheelchair accessible but we would kindly ask you to pre-book the day before travel so we can make any preparations necessary. Call us on 069-22311 or 065-6719101.
14How do I make a complaint?
